Questions to ask
What does a typical day look like? Is there homework time? Who are the staff and what training do they have? How is pickup handled? What activities keep kids active?
Red flags
Unstructured time with no supervision, too many kids per adult, or a program that's mostly screens are signs to keep looking.
Visit before you commit
